All church services cancelled until further notice!
IMPORTANT MESSAGE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, all face-to-face church activities including Sunday Services and services at Jackson House are cancelled until further notice. This started with the March 22nd service.
With what we know right now and with all of the advice we are hearing from our various levels of governments and health officials, it is certain that this situation will extend through April, most probably through May, and then perhaps even through June or beyond.
Please check the website regularly to get the latest updates available as we do not have a firm date when regular services will begin. Stay safe everyone!
We begin worship on Sundays at 10:50 am with 10 minutes of “praise” singing. The service following the singing generally lasts one hour. Dress is casual – come as you are.
In spite of being without a Minister, we are still able to celebrate Holy Communion approximately every six weeks or so. Our pulpit supply is often able to bring visiting Ordained and Diaconal Ministers as well as Licensed Lay Worship Leaders to preside over our services. This keeps our services varied, interesting, and informative.
Please look for our weekly notice in the Ashcroft Journal as well as visiting our church website often for the most up-to-date information.
Other Worship Services
On the second Sunday of each month, Zion United hosts the worship service at the Jackson House long-term care unit at the Ashcroft Health Site (700 Ashcroft-Cache Creek Hwy, Hwy 97C). This service starts at 2:00 pm.
Previously, Zion United hosted a monthly worship service at the Thompson View Lodge in Ashcroft (710 Elm Street) as well, but this has been temporarily suspended until further notice until requests for this service allow us to resume.
