Starting to Return to More Normal Times (Oct. 2021)

Welcome back all!
With current conditions and restrictions announced by the province, we will be starting Sunday services again this month.  Any restrictions still in force will be enforced for the safety of all.
We are not sure when we might be able to resume hosting remote services at the Ashcroft Health Site and Thompson View Lodge.
This decision will be re-evaluated as more becomes known, and any updates will be put up on this website and the church online calendar as soon as possibleStay safe everyone!

—————————————————————————————————————

We begin worship on Sundays at 10:50 am with 10 minutes of “praise” singing.  The service following the singing generally lasts one hour.  Dress is casual – come as you are.

Holy Communion

In spite of being without a Minister, we are still able to celebrate Holy Communion approximately every six weeks or so.  Our pulpit supply is often able to bring visiting Ordained and Diaconal Ministers as well as Licensed Lay Worship Leaders to preside over our services.  This keeps our services varied, interesting, and informative.
Please look for our weekly notice in the Ashcroft Journal as well as visiting our church website often for the most up-to-date information.

Other Worship Services

On the second Sunday of each month, Zion United hosts the worship service at the Jackson House long-term care unit at the Ashcroft Health Site (700 Ashcroft-Cache Creek Hwy, Hwy 97C). This service starts at 2:00 pm.
Previously, Zion United hosted a monthly worship service at the Thompson View Lodge in Ashcroft (710 Elm Street) as well, but this has been temporarily suspended until further notice until requests for this service allow us to resume.
