Church Board Meeting – November 18, 2017

Our next Church Board Meeting will take place on Saturday, November 18th, 2017 starting at 3:00 pm in the Church Hall.  A member of the Kamloops-Okanagan Presbytery will attend this meeting in the absence of our own Minister.

While non-Board members cannot vote at these meetings, Church Board meetings are open to any member of our congregation who wishes to attend.  This is a great opportunity to find out more about our church and how it operates.  It is also a great chance to participate in conversations and ask questions.

Urgent Meeting – Future of the Soup’s On Program – June 7, 2017

A very important meeting of the “friends” of the Soup’s On Program has been called for Wednesday, June 7th starting at 7:00 pm in the St. Alban’s Parish Hall.  The future of this program may be “on the line” at this time, so this meeting will be critical in determining if and how it can continue into the future.

The shortage of volunteers is becoming a major issue, especially during the summer months, and other volunteers are stepping aside permanently for reasons of health, age, or personal decision.  The financial aspects of sustaining this program’s funding are becoming more difficult as well.

Please consider attending this meeting to share your ideas and show your support. Tea, coffee, and dessert will be served.
